SR. Automation Engineer

Part of a team developing both Clean Coal Gasification and Power Generation technologies.  Designing the gasification process package, process and instrumentation, and design reviews with EPC.  Took part in CRS, ASR design, and RFI reviews.  Converting low value-residuals into higher value products, including power, steam, hydrogen, and basic chemicals.  A process that produces mixtures of hydrogen and carbon monoxide (Synthesis Gas or Syngas) from carbon-based feedstock, such as coal, petroleum, coke and heavy oils.

SR. Application Engineer

Originally applied for a Director of Instrumentation and Sales for the US and Canada.  The company and myself were uncertain about how much travel would be involved, so we mutually agreed to a six month contract for both parties to determine if this would work out. The following is the list of deliverables agreed upon in the contract.  Prepare and develop a sales plan for customers with process automation applications to include the following components:

(1)      Conduct product analysis, including examination of how R. STAHL’s instrumentation and electrical products can help these customers;

(2)      Identify strengths and weaknesses of R. STAHL’s instrumentation product portfolio;

(3)      Identify target industry groups; (4) identify key areas, with the highest density of key customers;

(5)      Identify the top 30 target key contacts and introduce R. STAHL to ten (10) of these target key contacts;

(6)      Examine and analyze R. STAHL’s existing customer base and make recommendations for strengthening this customer base;

(7)      Work with R. STAHL AG (German parent company of R. STAHL) to extend its DCS partnership in the United States by identifying key contacts within Foxboro, Yokogawa and Emerson LBPs and promote R. STAHL’s products and services to identify projects and further business opportunities, and follow R. STAHL AG’s extension of DCS relationships;

(8)      Prepare a presentation of this process automation applications sales plan;

(9)      Create sales presentations to execute this process automation applications sales plan;

(10)    Provide a monthly progress report on accomplishments of the above listed objectives.
